your animals, we will not service a room with an unattended or unsecured animal. The animal must
either be secured in a crate or travel carrier, or you must notify the front desk: 1) that your animal is
roaming freely in the room, and 2) what timeframe housekeeping is permitted to enter the room
when the animal will not be present or is secured.

No Daily Fee for Service Dogs/Working Dogs
The Inn at Schofield Barracks allows service dogs to be in guest rooms without being charged the daily
fee of $25.00 per animal, provided that the dog demonstrates appropriate behavior. For example, the
service dog does not pose a threat to the health and safety of others. A service dog is defined as a dog
that is individually trained do work and perform tasks for a person with a disability. A dog, whose sole
function is to provide comfort or emotional support, does not qualify as a service dog. If it appears
reasonable in the judgment of the Inn to assume that the dog can perform the described service task
there will be no daily fee for the dog.
